Sibshops are for 8 to 16 year old brothers and sisters who have a sib with special needs. Our Sibshops are run by a team of people who have a professional and, in some cases, a personal understanding of the impact a child’s special needs can have on brothers and sisters. Equally important, they have great kid skills! Sibshops will have fun outrageous games, cooking activities and hands on activities that will keep your kids engaged in an energetic way.

Sibshops Gatherings will be: November 13, 2021, December 18, 2021, January 15, 2022,  February 19,2022,  March 19, 2022, and  April 9, 2022  from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Alternate Learning Center 3939 Wrenwood Toledo, OH 43623

American Legion Post 384 in Whitehouse will be holding a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Grades K-8 are all welcome to attend!  Dancers will learn dance technique and a dance routine to perform at the varsity basketball game on Dec. 3rd.

COST: $45 per child by November 28 online or $50 as walk-in registration.
Cost includes: Shirt, Santa Hat, Clinic & Admission to BB game with paid adult.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office will present Operation Street Smart on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Anthony Wayne High School Senior Commons (back doors closest to the baseball field) located at 5967 Finzel Rd, Whitehouse, OH.  
We would like to invite parents, guardians, and interested community members to attend and learn more about:

  • Drug culture influence
  • What drugs adolescents are using and how
  • Tips to recognize drug use
  • Drug and paraphernalia examples
  • How adolescents hide drugs

It is an eye-opening presentation and one not to be missed.

This beginner hockey program gives girls and boys ages 4-14 years the opportunity to learn the basics of skating and hockey from USA Hockey trained instructors in a fun and organized environment.​​​​​​

Help Me Grow is a system of supports for pregnant women, young children, and families throughout Ohio.  Services and support are provided through Home Visiting and Early Intervention.

Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry serves the Anthony Wayne Community.  The Food Pantry is on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 -6 p.m. at the Waterville Community Church on Dutch Road.  There is a website with more information at www.awcfm.com.
