Welcome to Flyer Central

Our website allows us to process flyer requests in an electronic format, saving paper and time but still reaching a broad audience for these events.  No materials from any profit making organizations will be distributed to students in any format.

 

Flyer Submission Guidelines

Forms should be submitted electronically and directed to superintendent@anthonywayneschools.org

Each flyer must include:  Contact Name, Email and Phone Number.  Please be sure to include the desired date of posting and the date that the event ends.  Please supply a brief description/title of your flyer which includes the following information: Who, What, When, Where and Why for your event.  Flyers may be submitted any time but will ONLY be posted once a week.  In order for us to help you promote your event, please plan accordingly.

Requests to building personnel will be directed to the central office for consideration of approval.   ALL flyers must be pre-approved by the superintendent.

Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry serves the Anthony Wayne Community.  The Food Pantry is on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 -6 p.m. at the Waterville Community Church on Dutch Road.  There is a website with more information at www.awcfm.com.

2018-2019 Tryouts Coming Soon!  Toledo Football Academy (TFA) is holding their free tryouts for Toledo and surrounding area boys interested in playing travel soccer for the 2018-2019 Season starting on Monday, June 4.  Tryouts will be held at the Rossford Soccer Dome at 9300 Bass Pro Blvd., Rossford.

For over 10 years TFA has been committed to creating an environment where our Academy members can develop and experience all the joy that soccer has to offer them. Our coaching staff consists of independent (non-parent), professional, nationally-licensed coaches, some of whom are former college and professional players. Come out and see what The TFA Way is all about!

Anthony Wayne United Soccer Club along with the AWHS Girls Soccer Program are excited to announce our first Summer 3V3 Tournament! The tournament is open to all players ages U7-U14. Cost is $90 per team. Tournament date is Saturday June 23rd held at Blue Creek fields in Whitehouse. Stay tuned for registration information!

Anthony Wayne United Soccer Club will hold tryouts for the 2018-19 soccer season June 4 – 7th at Blue Creek Fields in Whitehouse.  AWUSC is the premier club level soccer serving the Anthony Wayne area. You do not need to attend Anthony Wayne schools to attend, tryouts are open to any player from the greater AWLS area. Registration is required! Please see flyer for age specific dates and times.

The SuperSchade’s Foundation, founded August 20th, 2013, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We work with local organizations and businesses to help supplement the cost of summer camp for families of children and young adults with special needs and provide a summer camp devoted to empowering individuals to become as independent as possible. We hope to assist in providing a better quality of life for all individuals, regardless of ability.

The participant will learn how to assist a lifeguard in an emergency on land and in the water. Through the course learn in water rescue skills and have hands on experience with first Aid, CPR and O2 equipment.

Camp Fearless is a free 4-day camp open to any child aged 6 - 16 who has experienced the death of a loved one.
Camp is held July 24 - 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Sylvania First United Methodist Church

Summer career exploration activity is for students currently in Grades 7 - 9.   Camp will be held from June 11 - 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m..  The cost is $50.00 and includes lunch each day.

The 2018 VEX Robotics Camp is designed for students entering 7th - 12th grades.  Students will experience STEM through innovative experiences using VEX Robotics kits.

Every Monday and Wednesday 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. starting Monday, June 18th and Wednesday, June 20th and ending Monday, July 30th at 10:45 a.m. culminating with the RACE Wednesday night!!!  August 1st in Perrysburg for Second Sole’s Sole to Soul 5k and Kids 1k

The Anthony Wayne Volleyball program is excited about another year of the Jr. Generals’ volleyball program, for any girl entering 4th-6th grade. This program will consist of five weeks (July 16 - Aug 15) of participating on a volleyball team, led by a coach, where the focus of instruction will be teaching technical and strategic skills, team building, and the basic fundamentals of volleyball.

Campers are presented with fun, hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation.  Camp Invention is led by experienced Toledo area master educators with curriculum inspired by the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.   The nationally acclaimed non-profit camp will be held at Toledo Christian School, June 11-15, 2018.

First Presbyterian Church of Waterville is hosting Art Camp at the church at 611 Farnsworth Road, Waterville, OH 43566.  The camp is for grades k-6th and will be June 18-22 from 6:30 – 8 p.m.  Reservations need to be made by June 11th.  The cost is $7 for the week which includes supplies.

The 2018 VEX Robotics Camp is designed for students entering 7th - 12th grades.  Students will experience STEM through innovative experiences using VEX Robotics kits.

Our EFK Spring Run Club (K-4th grade and 5th-8th) will focus on building core strength, improving balance and agility, teaching proper run form and building running endurance at age appropriate levels.  Join us for 2 coached sessions per week at Monclova Primary. Every Monday and Wednesday 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. starting Monday, June 18th and Wednesday, June 20th and ending Monday, July 30th at 10:45 a.m. culminating with the RACE Wednesday night!!!  August 1st in Perrysburg for Second Sole’s Sole to Soul 5k and Kids 1k
