Mercy College invites high school students and their parents to Sci Fri on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mercy College's Toledo campus. During Sci Fri, students will have the opportunity for hands-on science activities and experiments and participants will also work with the new anatomage table, a virtual cadaver, that is the most technologically advanced anatomy visualization system on the market. There will be a separate concurrent information session for parents during Sci Fri. 

Participants will be informed of basic IDEA concepts and FAPE, discuss challenging behaviors, learn the fundamentals of addressing behaviors in IEPs, positive behavior services, supports and interventions. Parents and professionals will gain an understanding of what may cause undesirable behaviors, how to manage behaviors and interventions that really work to help make the child more happy and productive at home and in the learning environment. 

The AWHS Softball program is hosting our annual Family Fun Night (FFN) on Friday, March 9, 2018 @ AWHS. The FFN features an All-Star Basketball Game, Kid's Carnival, and Silent Auction. The Kid's Carnival runs 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The basketball game will feature the AW staff vs a team composed of senior students from the HS. Game time is 7:30 pm.

To participate, children must be 9-12 years old as of Sept. 30, 2016. There is an $90 registration fee to participate. However, scholarships are also available.

The Lil’ Timbers Kids Club meets the first Saturday of every month from 11am-12pm. Different locations and activities vary each month depending on the season and tenant involvement. The event is complimentary and open to the public. No age restrictions.

Anthony Wayne YMCA Soccer is a co-ed program for boys and girls ages 3-4. Games will be played on Saturday mornings. All players will play at least half of every game. The program places a strong emphasis on fun, fair play, and learning the fundamentals of Soccer. Choose a practice time that best fits your busy schedule! Register at the Member Service desk, call 419-441-0013 or online ymcatoledo.org. Practices are on Tuesdays 6:00-6:30 pm at Whitehouse Primary unless otherwise notified. Ages 5 admitted upon request.

Classes for beginner to advanced players, ages 4 to 18 at Shadow Valley Tennis Club.  Days and times of clinics vary depending on player age and ability.  Classes offered at Maumee and Toledo locations.  Our programs begin with the basics of tennis including hand- eye coordination and learning the game.  Players work up to competitive play and strategic thinking and execution of shots.

Participants will be informed of basic IDEA concepts and FAPE, discuss challenging behaviors, learn the fundamentals of addressing behaviors in IEPs, positive behavior services, supports and interventions. Parents and professionals will gain an understanding of what may cause undesirable behaviors, how to manage behaviors and interventions that really work to help make the child more happy and productive at home and in the learning environment. 

KTU is a science outreach program that provides a true university experience for children who as of Sept 30, 2017 are between the ages of 9and 12.

This four-session program begins Saturday, Feb. 3, and ends Saturday, March 24 and is open to students who live within a one-hour driving distance of BGSU. To participate, children must be 9-12 years old as of Sept. 30, 2016. There is an $90 registration fee to participate. However, scholarships are also available.

The AWHS Softball program is hosting our annual Family Fun Night (FFN) on Friday, March 9, 2018 @ AWHS. The FFN features an All-Star Basketball Game, Kid's Carnival, and Silent Auction. The Kid's Carnival runs 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The basketball game will feature the AW staff vs a team composed of senior students from the HS. Game time is 7:30 pm.
