AW District Moves Forward With Parts of the Facilities Master Plan

In 2016, the District Facilities Master Plan was finalized to take the initial steps to modernize our current facilities and replace Whitehouse Primary. With the approval of the Fall 2016 Bond Issue, we were able to move forward and implement the vision of the facilities master plan. Over the last 9 months school district personnel have worked closely with architects from Stantec and SSOE to design plans for renovations, new construction, and parking lot redesigns and additions.  During the September board of education meeting, SSOE architects presented schematic designs for the campus traffic/parking lot additions, the new Whitehouse Primary building, and additions and renovations at the High School, Junior High, Fallen Timbers, Monclova Primary, Waterville Primary, and the new Operations facility. Based on requested options for the high school and junior high from the Board of Education, we will continue to work on these plans.
