Anthony Wayne Schools Exceed Energy Savings Projections
Just call them energy heroes. Working together to save energy, the staff members of the Anthony Wayne Local School District exceeded energy savings projections set by the district and its energy conservation partner, Energy Education, Inc. for the just completed performance year by $19,336. The district was projected to save $218,000 during the first year of its program with Energy Education, Inc. The district finished the year with $237,336 in savings. “Surpassing savings projections is a significant achievement. Anthony Wayne Local School District has achieved this level of success by consistently implementing the people-oriented approach to energy conservation and maintaining productive efforts at all levels of the organization. We commend the superintendent and school board, and other administration, faculty and staff members for clearly fulfilling their commitment to being good stewards of the taxpayers’ money and the environment,” said Dr. William S.
