May Letter to Stakeholders

May 4, 2024

Dear Anthony Wayne Stakeholders,

The final quarter of the school year brings competition and awards season along with various school staff recognition days, giving us many opportunities to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our students and staff. Each year, I am amazed by all that we are able to accomplish together.

It has been a challenging year, to be sure – but it has also been a year filled with remarkable demonstrations of creativity, resilience, dedication and leadership. The commitment to excellence from the students and staff of Anthony Wayne Local Schools is second to none. I’m confident that each student participating in kindergarten graduation, bridging ceremony, commencement or any point in between - is well-prepared to overcome any obstacle and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

As we approach the final weeks of the 2023-24 school year, I hope you will join me in expressing sincere gratitude and appreciation for the commitment to excellence that the Anthony Wayne staff has shown throughout the year. Each and every employee is critical to the success of our students and helps to ensure that they receive an outstanding education.

When you see an AWLS employee, please take a moment to say thank you for all they do to empower our students to be future ready.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jim Fritz, Superintendent
Anthony Wayne Local Schools
